About
Founded in 1928, the original company, Farm Bureau Mutual Fire Insurance Company, was established by the New Hampshire Farm Bureau Federation to provide affordable coverages to its farm members. During the ensuing years, insurance products were developed to serve the needs of the nonagricultural community as well. Ultimately, the name of the company was changed in 1965 to Concord General Mutual Insurance Company to satisfy current insurance market and geographic requirements.
